Welcome to Kewill.Trade for Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, this page gives you detailed instructions on how to view the manual written to help you use the system correctly and ensure you are paid for your goods correctly.

The Manual is an Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) file that can be viewed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have the Reader follow the instructions below to download a copy. As you follow the instructions this page will not always be displayed, it is therefore a good idea to print it now, to do this select File/Print from your browser, or click here

Download & View the Manual
  1. Click the 'Manual' link above to download the Manual.
  2. If you want to save the manual without opening it. Click with the right mouse button on the Manual link then choose Save Target As.. from the menu, this will allow you to save it to your hard disk.
  3. If you already have the Adobe Reader on your computer the Manual will open in your web browser. The file is fairly large and could take up to 20-30 minutes to be displayed. If you are asked to save the file to disk at this point go to instruction 4. Once you can see the file you can either save this file onto your computer or you can print it out.

    • To PRINT the Manual press the Print button (left-hand side) on the Button Toolbar.
    • To SAVE the Manual select File/Save on your browser, select a folder to save the document (save it as an html file).

  4. You will then be able to double click on the document and it will open in your browser using Acrobat Reader.
  5. If you do not have the Acrobat Reader on your computer you will be asked to save the Manual onto your computer, cancel this message and first download the Acrobat Reader following the instructions below.
Downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader
  1. Click on the download Adobe Acrobat link.
  2. You will be asked if you want to save the file to disk, click OK.
  3. Next select a folder where you want to download the file then click Save.
  4. Once the file has downloaded you must run the file to install Acrobat Reader (see instructions below).
Installing Acrobat Reader
  1. Click on the Start button then Run...

    • Enter the folder and filename of the file you have just downloaded. For example enter c:\temp\ar505enu.exe
    • Press Ok to run the file

  2. Once you have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader follow instructions 1-3 in 'Download & View the Manual'
Using Acrobat Reader

When you open the Manual file in Acrobat Reader a line of buttons will appear, the 10 most useful of these buttons are explained below.

  1. Print button - press this button to print the document currently viewed in Acrobat Reader, the document will print on the Default printer setup on your computer.
  2. Selects the 'Hand Tool' this lets you grab the page and move it around.
  3. Zooms out so you can see more of the document.
  4. Zooms in so you can see the document being displayed in more detail.
  5. Displays the first page of the document.
  6. Displays the previous page of the document.
  7. Displays the next page of the document.
  8. Displays the last page of the document.
  9. Sets the zoom of the document to 100%.
  10. Makes the current page fit inside the window, i.e. you can see the whole page without scrolling.
